Berlin-More than 2,000 extras are still being sought for the production of the fourth season of the hit series Babylon Berlin. Berlin agency Filmgesichter announced it was looking for men aged 18-50 and women of all ages with chin-length hair or shorter - especially pageboy cuts and bobs. Men should be no taller than 1.85m and clean-shaven. No beards - except possibly full beards on older men. The men should be prepared to be given a short back and sides cut by the make-up department.

Because the fourth season of the series is set in the 1920s and early 1930s, the following are a no-no: dyed or streaked hair, undercuts, solarium tans, fake nails, piercings and visible tattoos.

On the other hand, people with amputations, physical abnormalities and disabilities, as well as "gaunt" looking women and men, "preferably with worn-out faces and skinny bodies" can also apply. "Age doesn't matter here."

Filming will take place over one to three days this spring and summer, depending on availability. Tom Tykwer, Achim von Borries and Henk Handloegten will be directing the new season.

Those interested in working as an extra can register on the Filmgesichter website. According to the agency, two to three recent pictures against a neutral background, preferably a white wall, are required. Those selected will be e-mailed details of the shoot. Applicants should live in Berlin or Brandenburg, as travel costs will not be covered.
