BerlinA stretch of the Ringbahn (S41/S42), Berlin's circle line, will be interrupted from Wednesday evening until 14 September. Replacement busses with handicapped access will provide service between Beusselstraße in Moabit and Gesundbrunnen in Wedding.

Workers are installing new signals for the future S21 line, S-Bahn Berlin announced. When completed, the S21 will link the Ringbahn to the Hauptbahnhof.

At the weekend the interruption will be extended, affecting all stations from Beusselstraße through Schönhauser Allee in Prenzlauer Berg.

During the interruption some Ringbahn trains will continue on to Blankenburg or Pankow via Bornholmer Straße.
